I have been looking to get a new street bike and these look really cool, they deliver the bike assembled to your door with just a few bits to complete.Loving the dark green one.

Cowboy boots - yes or no ?

Since moving to Texas I have been contemplating whether or not to buy some cowboy boots.You see lots of cute girls wearing them about town. Not sure I could get away with it but I like the look.They need to be really good ones that will last forever.I like these ones ...not too pointy.

Saltwater sandals

I know Autumn is upon us but here in Texas we are still slathering on the sunscreen and dipping in the outdoor pools. So I am ignoring all the fall fashion and have just received my new saltwater red sandals in the mail.They are super comfortable and super cute in a nerdy geeky kind of way

St.Tropez

I haven't blogged in a whole month,I started a new job the kids went back to school so I have been really really busy.Not sure if I will have the time to blog like before but I will do my best :)

I found these cute needlework pillows on the Johnathon Adler website.I instantly fell for the St.Tropez one. I went there twice years ago when Luca was just a baby ,it was Winter time but I loved the seaside village none the less.They have lots of cute pillows on the website,they are pricey though.

Red Jeans

And now for something a little more trivial ( I sometimes feel guilty for posting about clothes,shoes,pictures and Things in general as it can seem quite superficial but fashion and design interest me just like photography ,cooking ,sports or religion are other peoples passions) I know there are bigger issues out there I do .
So here goes

News

The news is so depressing ...Famine in Africa ,drug violence in Mexico, Economy and debt, the way the politicians bicker and bitch is appalling, it makes you wonder what kind of a world do we live in? It is very easy to get disheartened and sad. What can I do? Put my head down and work as hard as I can ,be thankful for what I have and try to share and give to those less fortunate than me. Be grateful that I am healthy as are my kids and family.Take one day at a time because really today is your life and you need to live in the moment .

Miss you

Marc is currently in China and I miss him a lot. I swear I know no one who works or has worked as hard as he does. He is an amazing guy, he is so dedicated. He always laughs at me because the last thing I say to him before he leaves for work is what time will you be home at. I never get tired of his company and he is the only person I know besides my Mom who I could spend all day with ( they probably do not feel the same way but who cares!!!)He is hopefully fast asleep as a Typhoon passes over Shanghai. Cannot wait to see you Marc xxx
