It is so unbelievable what has happened in Japan, my heart goes out to the people, they have lost so much, here is one story I found. It is so sad.I am sure there are thousands more stories like this. All I can do is donate some money ,it seems so paltry.Mother Nature can be so cruel.

I am very insecure and for years have always cared more about what others thought but that is changing and little phrases like the one above help keep me strong .

Menu for the Month

So I have just spent the last hour or so drawing up a months worth of recipes .I drive my husband CRAZY with the "you are what you eat " story but I wholly believe it to be true .I wish I could become vegan but their are animal products in bloomin everything ! Anyway I got the Ok to omit cow and pig from our diets .He will just eat these to his hearts content with his work buddies .It is going to be hard with my 2 sons who adore HAM .

Bought Kris Carr's book "Crazy sexy diet " it is choc full of excellent advice .Her story is amazing and I have been a huge fan of hers for a few years now .Her Vlogs are so inspiring to me .Just listening to her puts me in a good mood .Go check her out .

Sammy the seagull

 So we have lived in our current home for about 1 year ,I love it here so much ,I wish the house were a little bit bigger but I HATE  housework so the size is fine with me really .I am trying to decide on colour for painting the walls etc .We need art to hang  ,I am not a huge fan of landscapes etc .I love trees and could easily plaster pictures of trees all over the place but my husband would not allow it !!

Bought these city posters for my upstairs library ,I really like Blanca Gomez's work ,I already have this in my bedroom aswell as  Sammy the seagull .He is by an artist named Wayne Pate. Isn't he a cute fella. The minute I seen it in a catalog I knew I had to have it

 I am a huge fan of Boden for both my boys clothes and ladies clothing too.I love their flats ,especially the kids ballet flats which fit me perfectly .Bought a pair in navy ( Navy is one of my favourite colours ever ) and the pink ones too .They go great with jeans and my denim pencil skirt and casual dresses too .The ladies ones are great too only double the price .I get great inspiration from their outfits and their models are so fresh .Another great export from the Uk .They are on the pricey side ,so I always watch out for sales and special discounts

Viva o Idioma EF Barcelona

I spent a long weekend in Barcelona and Antonio my host did such a great job showing me all the sights .I fell in love with this city ,it is so colorful and comes alive so late at night .Really hope I will get to go back one day .Spain is amazing .

Live the language - Paris

This video makes me Happy ,I have to tell you if I was 21 again I would move to Paris in a heartbeat ,live here for as long as I wanted ,learn the language perfectly .I lived in France for 2 years and it has made a huge impact on my style and preferences regarding food and fashion .I am happy to say I too found a french boy and am so lucky I get to go back every other year .Mon mari et moi plan on retiring here not Paris as my country boy would not hear of it .I will have to make do with my weekend visits !!!!
